The Modern Slavery Act 2015 came into effect on the 29th October 2015

This law requires manufacturers and retailers doing business in the UK which supply goods or services and have an annual turnover exceeding £36 million to disclose information regarding their policies to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from their supply chain and within their business.

Respecting human rights and environmental issues in the supply chain is ultimately our supplier’s responsibility. As customers, however, we play and active role in supplier development and have adopted various means to clearly communicate our expectations of our suppliers.

In our standard supplier approval process, we issue an integrity guide for suppliers and contractors which for example outlines our prohibition of child labour, paying less than the minimum wage and human trafficking, and not observing all laws and regulations.
